Dr. Banks invented a new type of bicycle saddle for long-distance cyclists

As the owner of Rivet Cycle Works, LLC., Dr. Banks is placed in an ideal position to apply her 15 years of business experience. She is responsible for consulting with clients on bicycle equipment, specifically a new bicycle saddle that she invented for long distance cyclists. She oversees all of the daily operations of her business, including strategic direction and vision, marketing, distribution, manufacturing and inventory, and all finances and administrative duties. She attributes her success to her dedication to both cycling and products that can go the distance and her relentless attention to detail. She became involved in her profession by taking over her fiance's business after his sudden and untimely passing. It was clear she needed to start her own company and Rivet Cycle Works, LLC was launched in early 2011.
A former educational consultant, Dr. Banks received a Ph.D. in education from the University of Colorado. In years to come, she plans to deepen her brand and market share in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
